Medical doctors and companies often have research data on innovative treatments that they want to tell everyone else about.  But doctors are very busy taking care of patients, and often they do not have the time (or enough writing experience and statistical expertise) to get their research data published by themselves.  Also, companies are not always sure how best to move the process forward and reach their goals.  That’s where Michael Hanna, PhD, can help:  by providing medical writing services, statistical analysis, publication advising, project management, and anything else necessary.  Whatever you need – journal publications, conference abstracts & slide decks, white papers – if you have research data you want to publicize – Michael is your hired gun partner to get it published in the best places possible, as fast as possible, so people can read it and learn about your innovative medical treatment.  Not entirely sure what you need?  Michael also routinely advises researchers and companies about everything imaginable related to medical scientific communications.

Michael Hanna has over a decade of experience as an independent multinational medical writer and research consultant, working together with world-class university researchers and biomedical companies in North America and Europe to bring innovative research data forward to publication. Michael has also provided intensive revision and editing of hundreds of research manuscripts across the entire spectrum of clinical medicine, life sciences, and health sciences. Prior to launching his own medical writing practice, Michael completed a BA in Neuroscience at Wesleyan University, an MA in Psychology at the University of Paris France, a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Cologne Germany, and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Public Health at Cornell University’s medical school in New York City. He has also held faculty research and teaching positions at the medical schools of the University of Aachen Germany and New York University. Michael has lectured on how to write medical scientific papers at numerous medical schools and conferences in Germany and the US. He has written internal reports for biomedical companies and advised them on research and communications. Born and raised in New York City, he is now also completely fluent in German, French, and Spanish. Michael Hanna is the sole author of the book, How to Write Better Medical Papers, published by Springer Nature.
